. Every speaker should comprehend deixis to enhance the quality of communication with interlocutor. This study investigates kinds and their references found in Madurese Culinary Writings. The data source is students’ It utilizes a qualitative research design. are gathered through observation document review. During collection process, field notes also used. analyzed using an interactive model analysis, which includes reduction, display, verification/claim. study's findings demonstrate that all types deixes Person becomes most frequent type including found, it has 70 data. next position provides place second having 31 Then, discourse 21 time 13 data, lowest social 6 Besides, this research: person “I”, “we”, “us”, “my” as first deixes; “You” deixis; “They”, “it” third belong Place “Serpang”, “Bangkalan”, “Arosbaya”; Time “then”, “after”, “for 3-4 hours” ; were “this”, “that”; last, “the seller”, ”my parents”.
